Welcome

The 4D Advanced Data Analysis Lab at Northwestern University (4D Lab Northwestern) provides world-class excellence in the field of advanced Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Image analysis services. Our Lab recognizes the activities of the physician and scientist investigators who are often behind the scenes evaluating new devices, new therapies, or improved processes, all under the careful control and guise of quality assurance and compliance programs.

Northwestern University is committed to conducting research in a manner consistent with all applicable Northwestern University policies as well as with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its accompanying privacy standards.  The Labs data management system is designed to be a highly secure, reliable, scalable and high performance multimedia storage system for secure exchange of data transfer.  Our highly trained personnel can provide timely analysis of your cardiovascular MRI study. Cardiovascular imaging can generate complex images that require additional post- processing and advanced 4D analysis (3D + additional information such as time, flow, perfusion, etc.) to extract otherwise unobtainable and clinically important diagnostic information (e.g. flow, perfusion, regional cardiac function). The Cardiovascular Imaging Research program at the Center for Translational Imaging has developed unique imaging and 3D/4D analysis tools that can provide information on cardiovascular disease not available at other institutions.
